Communication Gap Intervention
Some high school graduates may feel college is not for them. This program will give them the proper tools needed to stand out and be successful when applying for jobs straight from high school. This will include Resume Writing, Dinner Table Etiquette, Interview Preparation, Job Dress Code. They will also be given guidance for other options like Cos-metology, Medical Assistant, Mechanic, Heat-ing and Air Condition etc.
These areas of tutorial will be geared toward those students that need an extra challenge and those who need help with these areas. The stu-dents will be tested to gauge their weaknesses and strengths. Tutors credential will be from the college level and high achievers in high school.
This program is to open the understanding so communication can occur. Parental guardians and children need classes on how to communi-cate when one has difference of opinion. There are different tools that are used to open the com-munication. These tools are Role Playing, Char-acters likes and dislike and Fears. Role playing will give each party an opportunity to see them-selves through one another eyes. Likes and dis-likes allow one to see what hurts the others feel-ing and causes the breakdown of communication. Exposing fears will tare down the walls and be-ginning the process of healthy communication.
